The Palazzo delle Esposizioni's and 's Art Workshop service organises training courses for teachers, students, professionals and anyone with an interest in the field.

We hold practical and theoretical encounters to explore a working method based on active observer participation and on understanding the importance of layout, of the quality of a venue and of educational materials, all of which are elements specific to the Education Service – Art Workshop's activities.

Two encounters have been devised that explore the design and development stages of the workshops which we organise to tie in with our exhibitions.

The Collecting Game

How do you choose a painting?  How do you put together a collection?  An unbelievable selection of masterpieces, a unique collection of modern and contemporary works of art help us to reflect on the art of collecting art and on the enthusiasm that drove its founder.  In the workshop we learn to become art experts and to put together collections with the assistance of Kandinsky, Matisse, Picasso and Mark Rothko.
