Nemagon, a pesticide that has been banned in the United States since 1977, was used liberally on the banana plantations of Nicaragua where, in some areas, it ended up contaminating the water, the land, the food and even breast milk, seriously damaging plantation workers' health. Juan "Accidents" Dominguez, an LA attorney specializing in millionaire damage suits, saw the chance of a lifetime staring him in the face and he has sued multinational corporation Dole Food on behalf of over 10,000 Nicaraguans. A favorable verdict would set a historic precedent, potentially paving the way for all victims of pesticide-related damage throughout the world to press lawsuits in their turn.
