Pepi grows marijuana on her terrace; a cop rapes her in exchange for his silence, depriving her of the virginity that she planned to sell to the highest bidder. Seeking vengeance, she asks a young lesbian punk singer called Bom to help her. With its shameless gags, scatological humour and explicit language, Almodóvar’s first full-length feature film paints an uninhibited picture of the post-Franco movida.
