Julie Douib was killed by her former husband, in the course of a predictable femicide, in Corsica on 3 March 2019. The director documents the consequences of the event, the daily sexism, the feminist resistance and the collective trauma, while the people of Corsica honour such female figures as St. Julia despite the cyclical violence that women continue to suffer.
