animated tour for primary schools

To tie in with the exhibition on Jim Dine, the Art Workshop has devised a tour of the exhibition designed to allow kids to get acquainted close up with this great American artist's work made of paintings and sculptures so strongly linked to daily life. Day-to-day objects play a leading role in his art, utensils, tools of the trade and items of clothing telling their story and explaining how they relate to the world. A mass of real and reproduction tools provide fascinating material for the kids to talk about themselves and to compose astonishing self-portraits.
