Students from the
Asinitas School of Italian for Foreigners will be on stage with a shadow theatre production of “Plots – Women who Weave Stories”, guided by Silvio Gioia and Daniela De Angelis. Light, shade, colours, sounds and voices are interwoven in a series of memories, dreams and hopes exclusively in the feminine to recreate that intimate feeling that only an encounter among women can and does produce in every culture.
The event is the first appointment that the Art Bookshelf is organising to mark the Small and Medium Publishing Fair entitled "More Books, More Freedom" to discuss interculture and to present the fourth edition of the
Books Without Words, Destination Lampedusa project. A selection of silent books from all over the world earmarked for the boys' and girls' library in Lampedusa, symbol of all border areas.
