In a seemingly idyllic future, everyone's life is controlled by a totalitarian system that dictates that no one can live past the age of 30. A young man named Logan tries to rebel. A huge success at the time and winner of an Academy Award for special effects, despite some simplistic elements, the film remains a cult classic, a highly enjoyable example of dystopian science fiction that today seems increasingly prescient.
