directed by Robert Altman, starring Neve Campbell, Malcolm McDowell and James Franco, USA, Germany, UK 2003, 112 min., 35mm, Italian version
A season in one of the world’s most famous ballet companies, the Chicago-based Joffrey Ballet, mixing tradition and modernity. Altman surprises us again by penetrating a new choral universe, the world of dance, moving on stage and behind the scenes with the delicacy of a butterfly to observe the dreams, the toil and the disappointments of a group of dancers in search of discipline and harmony.
