Nashville - repeat

16 december 2025 ore 20:00

directed by Robert Altman, starring Keith Carradine, Karen Black and Ronee Blakley, USA 1975, 160 min., DCP, original version with Italian subtitles

Twenty-four characters meet up in Nashville for a country music concert in the course of a presidential campaign. With this colossal film, a veritable milestone in movie history, Altman revolutionises the language of the cinema, leaving it to the audience to unravel the meaning of a fresco that mixes music and politics, human arrogance and fragility, with a soundtrack comprising such legendary songs (some of them written by the actors themselves) as the Oscar-winning I’m Easy.
