A suitcase full of books setting out from the Palazzo delle Esposizioni's Art Bookshelf on a journey to Molise, Lazio and Basilicata. A travelling project spawned by the shared need to continue working and interacting through the valuable tool for mediation and integration that is the illustrated album. Practical ideas for workshops to turn school into a new and fun place, taking our cue from the world around us.

The suitcase holds illustrated albums, silent books and picture books to use as illustrated dictonaries for various narrative approaches and materials for producing workshops. A journey that is only just getting under way, open to new stages, new books and new encounters. Places and borders are the themes addressed in the first encounter.
