Man hunt

18 march 2026 ore 20:00

(USA 1941) directed by Fritz Lang, starring Walter Pidgeon, Joan Bennett and George Sanders, b/w, duration: 105 min., DCP, original version with Italian subtitles

Before the war, a famous English huntsman has the opportunity to kill Hitler, but he fails and the Gestapo is on his tail. In this gripping – if atypical – noir, Lang stages dilemmas that have more of a moral than a political quality, yet invariably keeping his audience on edge. The pursuit in the metro and the final duel are handled in masterly fashion.
