Raffaella Frascarelli (Nomas Foundation) and Iginio De Luca Which should be the contemporary art video’s peculiarities so that it can be considered suitable to the vision of children age 0-14? Which educational channels propose arts for kids and how they do it? Which connection can be established among the artist, the artwork, and the audience?
On December 13th at 6:30 PM within Digital Life (Romaeuropa Festival) at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, these and other subjects will be considered in depth by the artist Iginio De Luca, KIZART’s curator Raffaella Frascarelli (Nomas Foundation), and the Educational Department of Museum Palazzo delle Esposizioni in front of the screening of “Se penso a quell giorno”, a video the artist made in 2011.
The artist will talk about the visual experience that brought him to mix his childhood memories along with his adult’s identity; the Educational Department will explain why art is so important for the personal development of children; the curator will outline the new December’s programme.
A talk/conversation that represents KIZART’s most authentic spirit, that is creating a community of adults careful to education and art as instruments of cultural mediation for children.
