Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa

May 22 2025, 08:00pm - Bullying
Followed by an encounter with Alessandro Bruni and the director with the intervention of Leonardo Spanò

directed by Margherita Ferri. Italy, 2024, 114 min.

On 20 November 2012, a 15-year-old boy named Andrea Spezzacatena took his own life: this was the first case in Italy of homophobic bullying and cyberbullying resulting in the suicide of an under-age minor. This astonishing film takes an unfiltered look at the terrifying dynamics that led the victim to believe that he had no other way out. Narrated by Andrea himself in a light, almost ironic vein, the film has a strong emotional impact as it shines the spotlight on the basic values of empathy and of respect for others.
