One of the challenges facing contemporary society is the development of more appropriate forms of democratic participation in an effort to succeed in incorporating scientific innovation and technology through the extension of citizens' rights.
 

Fabrizio Rufo is Lecturer in Bioethics, Department of Environmental Biology, Rome Sapienza University - Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, his research concerns changes in the relationship between science and society.
