The Palazzo delle Esposizioni is proud to be part of the MUSEUMS IN MUSIC event.

There is no charge for visiting the National Geographic, 125 years. The great adventure and Imaginary Food. 1950 - 1970 publicity and pictures of Italy at the dining table exhibition between 8.00 pm and 2.00 am, for taking part in the guided tours or for attending the concerts. Last admission at 1.00 am. A musical tour of the rhythms, sounds, colours and cultures of the Mediterranean in Rome's temples of art. In the evocative rooms of Rome's finest museums, surrounded by exquisite works of art in outstanding architectural settings, hear the music dialogue without any "harsh discords or unpleasing sharps", the asymmetrical architecture produce lasting echoes, the spaces suggest other sounds and movements, suspensions and fugues, fearful silences... as the itinerant audience helps to build new images. The musical performances will be accompanied by cultural mediation on the part of experts guiding the audience around the music and the works of art.

Saturday 7 December at 9.30 pm A TRIBUTE TO JOBIM_ Casa Quintet: Francesca Fusco, vocals / Lorenzo Apicella, piano / Stefano Calderano, guitar / Carmine Iuvone, double bass / Marco Calderano, percussion A tribute to the throbbing, vibrant art of the great "master" A. C. Jobim, with minimal arrangements and moments of improvisation designed to conjure up a mood pregnant with pathos and "saudade". Guided tours before the show - starting at 8.00 pm. at 11.00 pm MEDITERRANEAN MAGIC Paolo Damiani New Project: Paolo Damiani, cello / Rosario Giuliani, saxophone / Antonio Iasevoli, guitar / Michele Rabbia, percussion The group put together for "Mediterranean Magic" will be joined by Rosario Giuliani, one of the world's leading saxophonists, and Paolo Damiani who won the Best Composer award at the Umbria Jazz festival in 2010.
