Two contrasting families – one snooty intellectuals, the other down-to-eath fishmongers – and in their midst, the homosexual relationship of two middle-aged men who need to "come out" with their nearest and dearest. Gassman and Bentivoglio, two comedians through and through, tackle the issues of sexual identity and family relations.
