To tie with the "Piero Tosi. Esercizi sulla bellezza. Gli anni del CSC 1988 - 2016" exhibition

07.11__19.12.2018

A new edition of Spot! 20 minutes in a work of art, a rendez-vous at cocktail hour, is back at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. The event, organised by the Education Services - Art Workshop, offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the teaching role played by the great costumier in the oldest and most important school of Italian cinema. Piero Tosi, one of the greatest talents in the history of costume design for the stage and the big screen, for the opera and for television, linked his name to that of such immortal films and film directors as Luchino Visconti, Federico Fellini, Lina Wertmuller, Liliana Cavani, Franco Zeffirelli, Vittorio De Sica, Mario Monicelli, Marco Ferreri, Gianni Amelio and, above all, Mauro Bolognini with whom he forged an artistic partnership that was to last for decades.
In the 28 years that he worked at the Centro Sperimentale, from 1988 to 2016, he trained dozens of talented youngsters and worked with all of the young actors and directors who trained there in those years.
