directed by Luc Côté and Patricio Henríquez. Canada, 2010 (99 min.) - original version with Italian subtitles
introduced by Jacopo Zanchini (Internazionale)
Omar Khadr is a Canadian citizen. Aged fifteen in July 2002, he was captured in Afghanistan and taken first to the base in Baghram and thence to Guantánamo, where he was charged with war crimes. He was interrogated there by a handful of Canadian secret service officers for four days in 2003. The video-recording of his questioning, which the Canadian Supreme Court has placed in the public domain, forms the backbone of a documentary that provides a totally new perspective on the war on terror.
