directed by Juan José Lozano and Hollman Morris. Colombia, France, Switzerland, 2010 (86 min.) - original version with Italian subtitles
introduced by Alberto Notarbartolo and Camilla Desideri (Internazionale)
The war in Colombia between paramilitary groups and the FARC guerrilla fighters has been ongoing for over twenty years, causing terrible casualties and leading to the disappearance of numerous people. Who's behind this conflict? And what role have the Army, political leaders, drug traffickers and multinational corporations like Chiquita played in it? Starting in 1999, Hollman Morris and Juan José Lozano have collected 600 hours of audiovisual material and turned it into a film, telling the story of a society racked by an interminable civil clash that will never be able to find peace unless justice is guaranteed and impunity defeated.
