Tracing a line on a sheet of paper, sketching a figure, choosing a frame or imagining action and dialogue: how would you tell Rome's history in strip cartoon format? From picturesque sites of outstanding beauty to ironic images peopled with oddball characters, the exhibition showcases the many interpretations of the Eternal City produced by the teachers and students of the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti, Rome's very own strip cartoon school. In the workshop children and teens will discover the graphic and narrative aspects of the strip cartoon thanks to an interactive game before devoting a "strip" to their own city. Monuments, protagonists and balloons all become pieces of a puzzle to put together and rebuild in ever different ways.
